Plain English. If anything here is unclear or looks wrong, tell us and we will fix the wording or the behaviour, whichever one is broken.

Your house

When you build a house, the answers you give and the plan that comes back are held in your browser's own storage on your own device. Clear your browser data and the house is gone -- from everywhere, because there was nowhere else.

Drawing the plan does mean a request leaves your browser: the shape of the house you asked for goes to our server, which asks our drawing engine to draw it, and the plan comes back. That request carries the choices you made -- how many bedrooms, roughly how big, which look. It does not carry your name, your email, or where you live, because we never ask for any of those to build a house.

The name you give your house travels no further than your own browser.

The picture you share

The share button takes a picture of the dollhouse as it appears on your screen, using your own graphics hardware, and hands it to you. It is not uploaded, not stored, and not seen by us. If you send it to someone, that is you sending it, not us.

The plan you download

When you download the plan to take to an architect, the file is generated fresh by our drawing engine and sent to you. We do not keep a copy of it and we do not index or inspect it.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store exactly four things:

• Your email address
• The date and time you signed up
• Which page you signed up from
• Anything you typed in the optional note field

That is the whole table. We use it to tell you when something we built is ready. We do not sell it, share it, or hand it to an advertising network, and every message we send has an unsubscribe in it. Ask us to remove you and we will.

Shopping links

When we suggest where to buy something, the link goes to that retailer's own website. Dollhows may earn a commission if you buy -- that is how this is paid for. Two things that follow from that, which we want to be plain about:

• It does not change what you pay. The price is the retailer's price.
• It does not change what we recommend. The sizes come out of your plan's geometry before anyone's commission is considered, and a thing that does not fit is marked as not fitting regardless of who sells it.

Once you click through, you are on the retailer's site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. They will generally know you arrived from us.

Tracking

There is none. No advertising pixels, no retargeting, no cross-site tracking, and at the moment no analytics script of any kind on this site -- not even a privacy-friendly one. If we ever add page counting, this page will say so before it ships, naming what it records.

The app stores one thing in your browser: the house you built, so it is still there when you come back. That is local storage on your machine, not a cookie sent to us, and it never leaves your device.

Who we are and who we use

Dollhows is operated by Quantum Armadillo, LLC. Three services make it work:

• Cloudflare -- hosting and the waitlist database. Sees request metadata, as any host must.
• CADdillo -- our own drawing engine, which draws the floor plan. Same company.
• The retailers -- only once you click a link to one.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. In practice, unless you joined the waitlist, the answer is that we hold nothing -- your house was never ours to hold. Get in touch through the form on the home page and we will action it.

If you are in the UK or EU, the lawful bases we rely on are consent (the waitlist) and legitimate interests (keeping the site working).

Children

Dollhows is made for adults designing their own homes and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change what we collect, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it. For anything material we will say so before it takes effect, not after.
